M0/pre-M1 announcement => APIs to get ready for release-candidate (DRAFT)
This email is to announce
- the M0 (kick-off) of the Fall24 meta-release which was approved by the TSC on April 18th
- the pre-M1 as we are running a bit late on the meta-release schedule
Fall24 Commonalities & Identity and Consent Management are available for use
- the scope issues that describe the content for the meta-release are available here:
- Commonalities: Commonalities release 0.4.0 scope · Issue #175
- Identity and Consent Management: Create ICM Release Plan · Issue #146
- the release PRs for both are available for M2.
- Commonalities: has its alphas version available: Release v0.4.0-alpha.1 · Commonalities
- Identity and Consent Management: will skip the alpha version and will release directly the release-candidate

API Sub Projects can start to prepare their release-candidate:
- create the API release tracker for the API version(s) planned for the Fall24 meta-release
- subscribe your API contacts to the wg-release-management@lists.camaraproject.org for further announcements
- start the activities described for the API Sub Projects here: Meta-release Process
- in case of questions or comments, use the FAQ or email the wg-release-management@lists.camaraproject.org
- announce the API progress on its release tracker each time an API version and its checklist are available
